great suction power. It works really well on hard floor surfaces. I use it to clean hardwood and laminate floors. I love the dust brush attachment – it’s really great for cleaning dust on glass, furniture, or any delicate surface(now I only need to spray and wipe those surfaces much less often).
The reason for one missing star is that I’d like it to have longer power cord(like 25 ft) and the hoses could connect more securely.

The vacuum itself turned out to be extremely effective, it cleans up as previously mentioned, great! However, the attachments, GARBAGE!! They break easily and you just can not find replacements. I have had to fix mine with krazy glue, tape, etc. Too bad, as I said, great power. Choose another one.

The 4-stars is based on value at price of $100. For $130, I’d knock it down to 3-stars. The good: great suction, body is relatively durable, pretty easy-to-clean bagless unit, convenient to carry while vacuuming the stairs. The bad: crappy hose and attachments, tube sections separate unless twisted together VERY tightly. One caution: I recently had a bad experience with Panasonic, with the company refusing to honor its warranty on a cordless telephone set. For that reason, I will not buy Panasonic again.

It has been almost 8 months since I first got this vac… Although the wand and hose are cheap and occasionally fall apart, the suction on this vac is awesome. It has never lost suction when cleaning. It is great for bare floors! However, if you have any deep carpet forget about it. This vac is so strong that it will just suck the carpet up.
So after 8 months I am convinced that this is the best vac for the price I have ever owned. It is definitely worth the price!
Really awesome for hardwood flooring

i really love this product. It’s light no bags are used and very powerful on hardwood surface. I shed a lot of hair and also have a cat. It gets out all the hair from the floor and gets the work done. However, one drawback is that the pipe? the tube thingy disassembles easily.

I should have listened to the other reviewers. There is NO WAY you can use this on carpet, or even area rugs. My home is 80% hardwoods and I still am unhappy because who wants to have to switch between 2 vacuums while cleaning? Plus, it is very flimsy (hence the lightweight, I guess.) It is comparable to a shop vac with an attachment, except a shop vac is much sturdier. Buy a shop vac instead!! I really wanted to like this, but know that I need to quickly return it before it breaks! I hate to pay return fee plus return shipping, which will almost equal the price of the vacuum, but I don’t want this piece of junk in my house. This is my first Amazon review because I hope to save someone else from this mistake. Please heed this warning!
Better than shop vac

We had always been using the garage shop vac for various uses in the house. Well, that shop vac is always a bit dirty, doesn’t roll very easily, is noisy, and in general just plain ugly. So, we purchased this Panasonic vac from Amazon. It was a great decision. It rolls about easily, is great for picking up spills, dog fur, and doing jobs like drapes, stairs, and hard wood floors. We especially like that its quiet, has the retractable cord, stores the accessories on-board, has a carry handle on top and uses no bags.

I already own this vacuum and decided to purchase one for my grandmother as well. It’s not too big or heavy and has great suction. The only annoying thing is that the hose attachment separates often. It doesnt have a super tight fit, so when you carry it, the head or one of the tubes separates. But all in all for the price it is one of the better small canister vacuums I have used.
Great Vacuum For The Price

I like this vacuum alot, its priced reasonably and the suction power is excellent. I have hardwood floors throughout my house. My floors have grooves between the planks and this vacuum easily lifts the dirt out of the grooves. I also like not having to change bags. Finally, I like the floor tool- its light and simple and easy to sweep over the floors. I cannot give this vacuum five stars though- I have the same complaints about it that you see in the other reviews: First, the brush attachment is practically worthless (too small and doesn’t have much fullness) and to use it, you have to slip and clip it on the end of the crevice tool. It’s pretty lame. Second, my old vacuum accessories don’t fit onto the Panasonic’s tubes. I still use them though- I simply “duct tape” them onto the end of the tube, and I’m ready to go. Third, the flexible part of the vacuum tube tends to crimp. Fourth, the plastic tubes tend to come apart- usually when you’re trying to reach a few feet across to get at something and then all the tubes go flying. Finally, the electric cord should be about three or four feet longer. All in all though, I like this vacuum for its price, power and purpose. I liked it enought to buy a second one. I keep one on each floor of my house.
Small yet strong

Bought this brushless vacuum since my regular upright had damaged my rugs big time. This vacuum has the strongest suction power I have ever seen in a vacuum. It’s perfect for rugs as well as carpets and floors. I’ve been using it for over 2 years and I am very happy with it. I strongly recommend it.

This vac works fine on hard floors and area rugs. As others have stated, the wand tends to come apart on occasion but other than that it works well. Not sure it’s worth the money tho. I tend to think the good old fashioned way of using a big Fuller dust mop would have worked just as well(other than on the rugs!).

I love this vacuum. It’s cheap, light, and the suction is fantastic. I love that it doesn’t have brushes – before, I spent half my vacuuming time pulling gross dust bunnies and hair out of those rotating brushes. I have three dogs and the Panasonic has no problem picking up pet hair. The canister design makes it much more maneuverable than an upright, and you can get into lots of tight spaces. I was going to buy a Dyson, but I can buy four of these for that price and put one in each corner in my house! Highly recommended.

Strong and reaches nearly everywhere , good for carpet also and most important NO belts. I liked it especially after suffering from different kinds upright vacuums with belt cutting off, loud noise and bulky structure which is difficult to move while vacuuming and hard to store . This one is small , needs no bags , and strong enough to clean my carpets .
Could be improved if wand is harder or made of kind of metal like the one I had overseas with telescopic steel wand.
I ordered it before new year holiday and it was shipped for free from amazon , I got it on time.

We have only wood and brick floors so this vacuum is perfect for use. Lightweight and easy to empty. The sticks do come apart easily but not to the point of being annoying!

I am very satisfied with this little guy. It works well on hardwood floors. It is very easy to get around in the small place I have. If you do not put the attachments on tightly they will come off but other than that it’s very well worth purchasing.

The brush assembly along with the plastic tubing is useless, cheap plastic and lacks locking mechanism to hold it in place. I knew that beforehand so I adapted an old Hoover brush that had the tube made of aluminum with locking system. That made it a decent vacuum cleaner because it’s light and the motor really works well, so far. There are two fundamental questions still to be answer, how long the motor will last and how people will be able to replace the inner filter.

You cannot beat this vacuum for the price. Works great on hardwood and carpet and has lots of suction. Very light and easy to carry around. I am very pleased and would recommend to everyone.

It’s a great product. I use it twice a week to clean my little 1 bedroom apartment. It’s actually not bad on carpet, as long as the carpet is not super dirty. Very handy.

I bought this machine based upon some online reviews I found. The reviews indicated that the machine would not be a good choice for carpet, but that it was a great value if you planned on just using it for hard floors. Since my whole first floor is hardwood, I thought this might be a good, inexpensive machine to use on the floors instead of sweeping and I could use my upright for the rugs.
The machine ended up being far cheaper than the picture or reviews seemed to indicate. While the suction is good on the machine, the wand keeps coming apart (it is simply two plastic tubes jammed together) and it is awkward to use. The handle is in a bad place to carry the machine. Everytime I pick it up to drag it out of the closet, I have to juggle the wand and the machine and usually the wand ends up coming apart again and I’m left cussing. The cord is also fairly short as well as the hose connected to the wand. You are forced to carefully move the canister around repeatedly, and if you pull too hard on the hose while vacuuming, it ends up rolling onto its back, which is bad, since this is where the exhaust comes out. So you have to stop, and resituate it.
I would return it, but Amazon’s policy will only give me 50% back, plus I’d have to pay for shipping. I guess I’ll keep it as a back-up to whatever real canister vacuum I end up getting. I would highly advise that you save the money you would spend on this machine and put it towards something that is more useable.
REALLY GREAT MACHINE

Don’t expect this thing to do miracles. for the price though, it is a beast. It is powerful on both hard surfaces( wood, concrete, tile, vinyl), and soft surfaces( carpet and rugs). The plastic parts can come off here and there but the fact that it is bag-less( and as bad as my allergies are, it does not trigger then), pretty light and powerful makes it easy for an impatient guy like me to use. My wife is happy! It feels a lot stronger than my friend’s dirt-devil.

I’m very satisfied with this small but powerful vacuum. It has lots of suction and is far easier to use than my large upright. It’s very easy to get behind and under furniture and along carpet edges, sliding doors, window sills, etc. I wish the hose was of a little better quality material as it will kink occasionally. The deciding factors for me to purchase this model are that it is bagless and the cord is self winding. I’m very happy with this vacuum and would purchase it again.

This vacuum is exactly what i wanted and has fullfilled all my expectations. it arrived here quite promptly as well…. i was surprised to see it sitting on my landing after only a couple of days past from ordering it. i’m pretty sure it was packed with recyclable cartboard pieces instead of styrofoam, which i take notice of….i think…. i’m pretty sure it was the vacuum…….any how. other than that the only drawback i can think of is that it gives off a strong odor. i’m only hoping the gasses aren’t toxic.

I live in a two bedroom/one bath home and storing a upright is difficult. This model has the amps of an upright the perfect size for easy storing. I like canister vacs; always did and this one is the best I found so far!
